Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant, JOSEPHINE DUCKETT, is on the road to success! Josephine earned the use of a new Pontiac G6 as a result of her outstanding achievement in operating her independent Mary Kay business This is her first Mary Kay career car.
 
CHERYL PLISKIN, owner of Jest Notes & Baskets has been selected to design auction baskets for the 2009 Philadelphia 76ers Players Fundraiser. JN&B has been designing the auction baskets for the Flyers for 3 years now and is proud to showcase for the Sixers as well!
 
Congratulations to 5 chapter members who were selected for the NJAWBO 30. They were given the honors at the Salute to Women Leaders on March 24. The winners are ALDONNA AMBLER, JOAN NOWAK, LINDA TAPP, CHERYL PLISKIN and TERRY WILSON.
 
GWEN FAULKNER was honored with the Woman of the Year award given by Miles Technologies.
 
LINDA TAPP, President of Crown Safety, has been recognized and honored by The American Society of Safety Engineers with the Safety Professional of the Year award. This award is given to the most outstanding ASSE member for accomplishments and contributions in the field. The award was presented to Linda at their convention in Orlando, FL in June. Linda is only the 2nd woman to have ever received this award.
 
At our dinner meeting on March 20th, Teal Heart awards were presented to PEG MCSHEA in recognition of her willing efforts to provide us with our programs every month, notices of meetings, and the newsletter. LIZ CRUZ-KAEGI was recognized for her on-going and thoughtful assistance in growing our chapter. TERRY WILSON was acknowledged for her tireless work on maintaining our "who’s coming.com", of which she is the creator, and fulfilling the position of secretary at the monthly board meeting, providing accurate minutes and reporting. And MICHELLE HELFRICH accepted an award for her non-stop involvement in advancing and furthering the opportunities offered to you by this chapter, such as the "photo op" where we had the chance to get a professional head shot taken for a fraction of the normal costs and for the planning of our lunch and breakfast meetings.
