2010 Award Winners
BUSINESS WOMAN OF THE YEAR
This award honors a woman business owner who is a member and has distinguished herself in her business, NJAWBO, and in her community. To qualify for this award, the nominees must have been a member of NJAWBO for at least three years and must have been a business owner for at least three years.

TEAL HEART AWARD
The Teal Heart Award is a NJAWBO service award. The purpose of this award is to acknowledge members for outstanding service and dedication to the State and the Chapters, to provide public recognition of member's achievements and to inspire the general NJAWBO membership to take initiative in projects which will further NJAWBO's goals and objectives.

NOTABLE NEWCOMER
This new member jumped right into committee work from the get-go. She joined NJAWBO and got involved right away - no questions asked, without hesitation - and has proven herself to be a consummate team player and a tremendous help with a myriad of tasks and projects in the chapter or at the state level.

BEACON OF LIGHT
This member is a true inspiration to everyone around her. She shines with a luminous spirit and lifts up her sister NJAWBO members. This member sets a glowing example of volunteerism and embodies what NJAWBO is all about, being a source of business referrals, support and advice simply because she is asked. She is someone people enjoy being around and brings light and life to her chapter.

This member is someone who has built on everything that came before, and has re-created her position and forged new paths beyond her appointed responsibilities. She has taken her elected or appointed position steps further then previously imagined, raising the bar of excellence for to new heights. Before her lies a new horizon for her committee and her successor to travel on, and her vision and action leave and indelible mark on the organization.
